Talking to others who have been where you are and understand is tremendously important for breast cancer patients and survivors. It is equally important for co-survivors – the caregivers for breast cancer patients and survivors. If you are looking for a support group. there are several local options available to you. Do you want to meet in person? There are groups that do that. Do you prefer to connect through social media? There are groups that do that, too. What’s most important is finding a group that feels right to you.
Below are some suggested groups. If you would like information on these support groups or other groups in Alabama, please contact our Volunteer and Support Coordinator, Jinida Holt, at (205) 990-5368 or [email protected].
