Learning Swedish Weaving with Betty Shivers

Join us at the Forge house for a beginner’s weaving class taught by Betty Shivers, a breast cancer survivor and Forge volunteer! Betty will teach us about a decorative form of embroidery called Swedish weaving. Inspired by her mother-in-law, Betty picked up Swedish weaving after retirement and has been practicing for about 7 years. At this class, participants will learn how to make a placemat. All supplies will be provided.
