Coffee Conversations: The Haute Pink Experience

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
October 8th’s Coffee Conversation features Catheryn Orihuela. Catheryn Orihuela joined Forge in January 2022, embarking on a new chapter in her career following a significant personal challenge. Diagnosed with ER+/PR+ Stage 1 breast cancer, Catheryn underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction later that year, fortunate to avoid chemotherapy due to the early-stage nature of her tumor. Her journey took a refreshing and exciting turn when she was invited to participate as a model for Haute Pink 2023, an experience that deeply resonated with her.
Through Haute Pink, Catheryn found a platform to share her story of resilience and hope, offering inspiration to others navigating the complexities of breast cancer. She is excited to share her insights and experiences, reflecting on the transformative experience of Haute Pink in her healing journey.
