Coffee Conversations: Stress, Race and Breast Cancer

August 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

August 28th’s Coffee Conversation features Keyonsis Hildreth, MPH. Keyonsis Hildreth is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a master’s in public health in health education and promotion. Her interests include analyzing health disparities that affect populations of lower socioeconomic status in the Black Belt region. She joined Dr. Gabrielle Rocque’s team at UAB in January of 2022 as a clinical research coordinator. In this position, she works on several projects.

Some of her current projects include conducting conversations with community members on digital health literacy and understanding the relationships among stress, race and breast cancer.

Please join our Coffee Conversation discussing the relationships among race, stress and breast cancer!
