Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor, or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
May 10th’s Coffee Conversation features Rashad Hayes, LMSW. Rashad helps individuals/organizations overcome pain and leverage challenging situations to their advantage. Rashad is an expert in overcoming adversity and transforming pain into purpose. Rashad wears many hats – motivational speaker, Social Worker, Credential course instructor, and most importantly cancer patient. He aims to utilize his voice to inspire and teach individuals how to leverage adversity and use it as a platform and not a clutch. Rashad guides the audiences on a journey unlike any other to identify their own secret ingredients to apply to their lives.
Please join our Coffee Conversation to talk with Rashad about patient advocacy during treatment!
If you are able to donate any amount to contribute to Forge’s continued efforts to support our local breast cancer community, we greatly appreciate it. Donations can be made on the Forge website: https://forgeon.org/donate
