Coffee Conversations: My Loved One Was Diagnosed. What now?

May 22 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

May 22nd’s Coffee Conversation features Mark Adams. During this Coffee Conversation, we will discuss his journey as a breast cancer co-survivor. Mark’s wife, Stephanie, was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 10th, 2020, right before the pandemic. During her breast cancer journey, Mark wished that he had a male co-survivor that he could talk to as he navigated the challenges of being a caretaker for his wife during her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Near the end of Stephanie’s active treatment, she asked Mark to join her and attend Forge’s Young Breast Cancer Survivor Support Group’s quarterly co-survivor support group meeting. In that meeting, he had the chance to talk with other co-survivors and got the support he needed as well.

Please join our Coffee Conversation discussing what happens when a loved one is diagnosed with breast cancer!
