Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
January 8th’s Coffee Conversation features Whitney Sanders. Whitney is a mom of two, career woman, breast cancer survivor and women’s health advocate. Diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer in August 2023, she underwent 13 rounds of chemotherapy, during which she used cold capping to preserve approximately 80% of her microlocs. Beyond her personal journey, Whitney is passionate about advocating for others facing cancer and helping raise awareness of the importance of support and treatment options. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through exercise, reading, outdoor activities and traveling. With a deep commitment to both her family and the cancer community, Whitney strives to inspire others through her resilience and advocacy work.
