Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor, or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
Wednesday’s March 8th Coffee Conversation features Sara Mansfield, MS, NBC-HWC. Sara provides clinically supervised exercise and movement-based programs to individuals who are challenged with chronic illness, with a special focus on cancer rehabilitation and survivorship. Her practice strives to make physical activity accessible to all, regardless of limitations or barriers. Care incorporates functional assessment, physical activity prescription (aerobic, strength and mobility), mindfulness practices and wellness coaching to assist patients in making connections with their own personal values to their vision of a healthy, vital and meaningful life. By educating individuals on how to incorporate accessible, healthy behaviors into daily life, her hope is to give both survivors and caregivers the individualized tools that play an important role in recovery and beyond.
Please join our Coffee Conversation to talk with Sara Mansfield about Breast Cancer and Physical Fitness!
