Canvas Painting Class for Breast Cancer Survivors

This special painting event hosted by the Shelby County Arts Council is designed exclusively for breast cancer survivors, those currently undergoing treatment and their caretakers. This free event, called “Spread Your Wings,” will take place on Thurs., Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Shelby Arts Council, located at 105 West Mildred Street, Columbiana, AL 35051.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, this event is for you! We encourage you to come and express your creativity in a supportive environment. The only requirement is your connection to breast cancer—either as a survivor, someone currently undergoing treatment or as a caretaker.
After our painting session, we’ll have some delicious snacks for you to enjoy while mingling with others in the community.
