The word calligraphy is composed of two Greek words – calli meaning “beautiful” and graphos meaning “writing.” While calligraphy takes special pens and practice, with simple materials, we can create beautiful writing. Letters can come alive with just a few added brushstrokes or swipe of color. Bring your favorite word, quote, verse or mantra to create your own Beautiful Lettering. No experience is necessary; just a willingness to experiment and play with markers. During this 90-minute session, Elizabeth will teach us about using Beautiful Lettering in our healing journeys and lead us in the creation of our own works of art.
