Candid Coffee Conversations: Navigating HR with Breast Cancer

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor, or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
Wednesday’s, August 23rd Coffee Conversation features Kristi Smith. Kristi Smith works for Protective Life Insurance Company as the Vice President, Employee Relations & HR Compliance Officer. With a Master’s in Human Resources and over 20 years of HR experience, she focuses on the areas of Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, HR Compliance and Immigration. She enjoys volunteering with her church and currently serves as the Secretary for the Board of Director for Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama. In her free time you will find her cheering on her niece and nephews at their multiple sporting events and traveling the globe.
