Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor, or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
April 26th’s Coffee Conversation features Elizabeth Vander Kamp. Elizabeth is a Master Gardener, Compassionate Listening Facilitator, Certified Zentangle Teacher, wanderer, beauty seeker, and the Creative Director of her newly expanded business, Summer red designs. She agrees with Mr. Rogers’ statement – listening is an act of love. Gardening is a gateway to listening to ourselves and the earth. It also gives us a chance to co-labor in the creation of beauty.
Please join our Coffee Conversation to talk with Elizabeth about utilizing gardening as a coping skill!
If you are able to donate any amount to contribute to Forge’s continued efforts to support our local breast cancer community, we greatly appreciate it. Donations can be made on the Forge website: https://forgeon.org/donate
