Coffee Conversations: What To Expect after a Breast Cancer Diagnosis

February 26 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

February 26th’s Coffee Conversation features best friends and breast cancer survivors Kathryn Tortorici and Nancy Bynon.

Nancy and Kathryn’s friendship began in 2008 when they co-led a team to create the cookbook Tables of Content for the Junior League of Birmingham. Their shared passion for food is reflected in each chapter, which includes a delightful recipe perfect for expanding anyone’s culinary repertoire or sharing with loved ones.

Both women were diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time, and throughout their individual journeys their friendship grew closer. Now, Nancy and Kathryn are sharing their stories, devotions and recipes in the hopes of paying their good fortune forward to others facing similar challenges. Their conversations—full of inspiration and encouragement—are a testament to the strength that can come from friendship and faith, offering hope to those navigating a breast cancer diagnosis.

Join us for a Coffee Conversation as we discuss what to expect when diagnosed with breast cancer!
