Coffee Conversations: Understanding Your Medical Documents

April 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

April 23rd’s Coffee Conversation will feature Dori Johnson. Dori is an experienced nurse with a passion for empowering patients through knowledge and advocacy. A native of LaGrange, Ga., Dori brings nearly two decades of nursing experience across multiple specialties, including oncology, internal medicine, home hospice and surgical care. She currently serves as a Certified Telephonic Nurse Case Manager in Worker’s Compensation, helping patients navigate their health care journeys.

Beyond her professional expertise, Dori is a dedicated mother, proud “Gigi” to her grandson and an active member of her church community. She believes that breast cancer survivors should feel confident and informed when discussing their health, ensuring they understand their lab results and feel empowered to ask questions about their care.

Join us for our Coffee Conversation discussing understanding medical documents.
