Coffee Conversations: Side Effects of Chemotherapy

May 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or medical professional on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

May 28th’s Coffee Conversation will feature Nazma Chowdhury, PhD., MSHI, MBBS. Dr. Nazma Chowdhury, originally from Bangladesh, holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) from the United States, as well as an MBBS from a medical school in Bangladesh. As a breast cancer survivor, Nazma is passionate about promoting both physical and mental wellness, drawing from her own journey through diagnosis and healing. She works with O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center with Quality Management of Clinical Research Trials.

She enjoys crafting journals, gardening, reading, music and exploring new recipes. Her greatest joy is being a mother and embracing every moment—both the highs and lows—of her cancer journey. Nazma values staying engaged through volunteering and encourages others to stay strong, ask questions and never stop learning.

Join us for our Coffee Conversation discussing the side effects of chemotherapy.
