Coffee Conversations: Lymphatic Wellness after Breast Cancer
Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.
January 7th’s Coffee Conversation will feature Megan Sortino, MBA, OTR/L,CLT. Megan is an occupational therapist and certified lymphedema therapist with a passion for supporting breast cancer survivors on their journey to recovery and wellness. With expertise in lymphatic health and a focus on empowering survivors, Megan helps individuals understand, manage and prevent lymphatic complications after breast cancer. Through her work, she aims to provide practical strategies and guidance to help survivors “pour into themselves” and prioritize their health and well-being. Megan currently works with patients out of Baptist Health Shelby Hospital Outpatient Rehab clinic in Alabaster.
