August 11, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center hosts a virtual “Coffee Conversation” on select mornings that features a 30-minute interview with a survivor, co-survivor or expert on a topic, followed by a time for conversation with participants.

August 11th’s Coffee Conversation will feature Herbert Gooden. Herbert is a stress and anxiety practitioner, mindfulness meditation teacher, and neuroscience coach specializing in spirituality. With over 20 years of clinical expertise, he integrates neuroscience-based mindfulness techniques to promote holistic well-being. His qualifications include extensive training in bodywork as a Clinical Massage Therapist and certification as a Recovery Support Specialist through the Alabama Department of Mental Health.

Herbert operates a private practice at Children’s Harbor of Alabama, providing tailored stress reduction and management services for staff, patients and families at both Children’s Harbor and Children’s of Alabama. As an accomplished author and mentor, he has supported over 15,000 clients throughout his career.
